Privacy Policy
What NRT Keeps, and Why.
This page describes the account, simulator and operational information kept by the rebuilt NRT website. Last updated September 30, 2026.
Who Is Responsible
Northern Reliable Transport ("NRT") is a hobby virtual airline and trucking company. Questions about this policy or about your data go to the staff through the Report an Issue page, choosing Data or Privacy.
What NRT Collects
- Account details: your name, email address, password (stored hashed), and the NRT ID assigned to you.
- Provider identifiers you give us: your VATSIM ID, FSHub ID, Trucky ID, and Discord ID, so flights and drives you report can be matched to you and to no one else.
- Movement reports: the flight and drive records that FSHub, Trucky, and NRT OnBoard send about your movements: routes, times, aircraft type, cargo, and positions while you are moving.
- Operational records: the jobs you accept, the fleet you hold, your NRT Money, Points, and Reputation, and the staff decisions about your reports.
- Security records: sign-in and client access records, two-factor settings, and request IP addresses in security and audit records. Some abuse-prevention records use hashed addresses.
How NRT Uses It
To run your membership: to match your reports to your account, to offer you work you can actually do, to keep your balances and history, and to review exceptions. To keep the network honest: VATSIM confirmation of NRT flights, audit trails of staff actions, and exact matching of provider identities. To meet VATSIM partner obligations, which can include making flight records available to VATSIM for audit.
What Is Public
The public site shows company-wide counts, without member names, provider identifiers, individual routes or precise live positions. The Live Map requires sign-in. It can show other members your public name, NRT ID, current reported position and recent trail. Your email address and raw provider reports are not included in the map feed.
How Long NRT Keeps It
The rebuilt service currently retains account records, provider reports, position batches, operational history and ledgers. Scheduled deletion of raw provider reports and position batches has not yet been introduced. Contact staff to request a copy, correction or removal of your data. Staff review these requests and explain any records that need to be retained; closing an account does not automatically erase its history.
Your Rights
You can ask what NRT holds about you, ask for corrections, and ask for your account to be closed. Use the Report an Issue page with the Data or Privacy category; a staff member answers from the administration side.
Third Parties
NRT receives reports and network observations from supported services, including FSHub, Trucky and VATSIM. Those services have their own privacy policies. NRT OnBoard can send your simulator movement reports, positions and selected equipment information to NRT. NRT does not send your information to advertisers.
